About me
My Story
A little about me
I was born in 2005 in the West Lincoln Memorial hospital, and from the very beginning I wasn’t exactly existing through life alone. I was born a twin, and grew up as the oldest of 3 boys.
Being raised here, my childhood was filled with typical neighbourhood activities. I practiced karate, hockey, and participated in soccer for the lions club. Essentially finding any excuse to be outside, especially spending afternoons at the library.
I attended Senator Gibson before moving to Central French Immersion Public School, where I took part in clubs including Me to We and the Gardening Club. I continued my French education through high school and graduated in 2023 as part of the first graduating class of West Niagara Secondary School.
As I got older, my interests grew to include writing, politics, and business. Writing became particularly important to me, eventually leading to my first published poetry collection, The Way I Adored You, which has sold more than 400 copies.
After high school, I began studying International Business at the University of Ottawa before realizing that my interests were taking me in a different direction. I’m now studying Political Science at Brock University, with an increasing interest in public service and local government.
At 21, I’m taking a step I never expected to take this early, which is to run for Lincoln Town Council.

Being a student while running for council is something I’m proud of. I’m learning about government and public policy while also getting firsthand experience in local politics and the community I hope to represent. I may still be in the classroom, but that doesn’t mean I’m waiting to start learning about the work of public service. I’m doing both at the same time.

Why I'm running
Why I'm running
I never planned on running for Council. The decision came gradually, through the people I found myself listening to.
I saw the strain in my own family first. I watched my parents weigh ordinary things against the cost of keeping everything else afloat. I heard my friends talk about leaving, already imagining lives somewhere else because that was where they thought they could find a future. I watched older neighbours I had known for years adjust to a different stage of life, facing circumstances that made the things they had once taken for granted much harder.
Then, eventually, I started hearing from people I had never met. A post here, a comment there, someone sharing what had happened on their street or what they were worried about. Different lives, different circumstances, but a growing sense that something about the way we live here is changing.
That is what made me put my name forward for Ward 1.
But underneath all of that, I'm not only a candidate. Before that, I’m still a resident.
When those storms came through, my home flooded. Our home was damaged, and I found myself thinking about what it would take to recover from something that was never supposed to happen to us. When our roads fill with potholes and our cars have to drive through them, I think about the damage that can leave behind. At home, I’ve watched ordinary expenses become decisions about what we can put off, what we can go without, and what has to come first when there are bills to pay. Even something as simple as taking a trip to see family can become something we have to think twice about.
I’m running because I want residents to have someone at that table who remembers what it feels like to be on the other side of it.
This town raised me, worried me, tested me, and still, I love it enough to want to stay and build something here. That’s who I’m asking you to trust with a seat at the table. Someone who cares about this ward the same way you do, and who’ll carry that care into every decision made on your behalf.
WHAT WE CAN BUILD

Affordability
· Scrutinize spending that doesn’t provide clear value
· Work to limit unnecessary property tax increases
· Be open and accountable about how taxpayer dollars are spent
· Keep essential services a priority
· Make property tax decisions easier for residents to understand and scrutinize

Infrastructure
· Address flooding, drainage, and stormwater concerns
· Make infrastructure capacity part of growth decisions
· Prioritize roads, water, and wastewater alongside development
· Plan for growth before building
· Advocate for the infrastructure Ward 1 needs

Affordable housing
· Advocate for housing opportunities through the Region
· Support attainable housing for working families and young people
· Encourage more opportunities for first-time buyers
· Support a healthy mix of rental and ownership options
· Make sure new housing is properly planned around existing infrastructure

Inclusion & Community
· Create more opportunities for youth to participate locally
· Advocate for more accessible housing and community spaces
· Support families and residents at every stage of life
· Promote age-friendly housing, technology, and services
· Give young people more ways to get involved
